Our 100th Anniversary Favorites

These are some of our favorite 100th Anniversary items and they're still available on the GSUSA website! They'll make great keepsakes for your Girl Scout collection or to share with troops in the future - "I sure remember back in 2012 when we ..." 

We have especially enjoyed wearing the 100th Anniversary Commemorative Disc and the 100th Anniversary pin on our vests! If the Girl Scouts in your troop don't have these items on their vests yet, they would be great items to hand out at an end of the year Court of Awards. 

Great Girl Scout Gifts: Laptop Case and Earring Set

Great Girl Scout Gifts: Trefoil Scarf

A Girl Scout item that Girl Scout Seniors and Ambassadors might like to receive as a holiday gift is the new scarf. This navy blue scarf with a green border is now part of the official uniform! This scarf, featuring "Girl Scouts" and a trefoil, will be a fun way to show some Girl Scout Spirit! 

When I (Patriot) was at Girls World Forum last summer in Chicago, I noticed that lots of the Girl Scouts and Girl Guides from other countries wear scarves as part of their official uniforms. Now, American Girl Scouts can wear scarves with their vests as well. Even on the dress down days at Girls World Forum, the girls from other countries still wore their scarves.

Item number two on our wishlist is the Trefoil iPhone Case. This cute Girl Scout case is the perfect way to protect your iPhone 4 or 4S!

The third item on our holiday wishlist is this adorable Girl Scout purse! It has several pouches and a long shoulder strap for easy carrying. The green trefoils look really nice on this navy blue bag!

Great Girl Scout Gifts: Trefoil Accessory Case

Have you already begun to shop for Christmas or Hanukkah presents? If you want some present ideas for the Girl Scout(s) in your family, here are some Great Girl Scout Gift suggestions that are both fun and practical! 

Item number one on our wish list is the Trefoil Accessory Case. This case is a great place to carry toiletries such as a comb, ponytail holders, lip balm, a toothbrush, and toothpaste. It features trefoil shapes and a nice zipper pull. From troop overnights to larger events such as the next Girl Scouts National Convention in fall of 2014, this case will definitely come in handy!

Sweet Scouting Styles

The Girl Scout Shop is carrying some awesome new items. Check out their pictures and descriptions below. You can probably buy any of these at your local Girl Scout Shop or find them online here! Your leader might also have a fall catalog carrying these items.

  
For Daisies, there is a bright blue beanie with the daisy flower on it. This hat has previously been worn in brown by many Brownie Girl Scouts. Now, Daisies will be following their lead with a beanie of their own. The girls will look so cute in it!

  Brownies will be excited to have their own canvas bag. This brown, two pocket bag states that “Brownies Can Do Anything.” This is true, for they can earn many different try-its, learn new things, and acquire different skills. There is also a similar shirt to go along with the cool, new canvas bag.

  

A stylish lime green polo with a light pink stripe at the top is on the store hangers for the Juniors. It will look great on Girl Scouts who purchase it, and it has the perfect modernized, girly twist that girls will love.

  
To end on a happy, general Girl Scout note, here is a picture of a Girl Scout green tee. This shirt is perfect for Cadettes, Seniors, Ambassadors, and the other levels as well. Front and center, the new Girl Scout logo is featured too.
